About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead and scale our growth efforts in the outpatient physical therapy market across the United States. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales and marketing program, with the goal of driving new business, increasing brand visibility, and expanding our market share in the physical therapy industry.

As the Director of Sales, you will own the full revenue generation strategy—from lead generation and pipeline development to closing and account transition. You will play a critical role in building relationships with independent clinics, multi-site regional groups, and enterprise-level physical therapy organizations. This is a consultative, solutions-focused role requiring deep understanding of client operational and financial pain points and how our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions can address them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and lead the company’s go-to-market sales and marketing strategy, including lead generation, outbound campaigns, content development, and brand positioning.
  • Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities in the outpatient physical therapy space, including single-site clinics, regional chains, and national organizations.
  • Conduct in-depth discovery conversations to understand client workflows, challenges, and revenue cycle inefficiencies.
  • Clearly articulate and position the value of our RCM solutions to C-suite and clinical decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with leadership to set ambitious growth goals and define KPIs that align with revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting, partnerships, and marketing-driven channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with implementation, operations, and client success teams to ensure smooth transitions post-sale and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Track and report on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline metrics in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and webinars to generate brand awareness and leads.

Compensation Package

The compensation package is a combination of Base Salary and Commission/Bonus.  The compensation package will consider factors including:

 

  • Depth of healthcare/RCM sales experience
  • Book of business or network with providers, payers, or hospital systems
  • SaaS sales experience specific to RCM software/platforms
  • Leadership and team management experience

 

Base Salary: $70,000

 

Commission/Variable Pay:

 

Commission is calculated at 6% of the MBC revenue earned in the first 12-months by a new client generated through direct sales efforts.   Commission is paid quarterly and is uncapped.

License & Experience

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in healthcare or RCM services.
  • Proven track record of building sales strategies and consistently exceeding quota.
  • Deep understanding of the outpatient physical therapy landscape or a related healthcare vertical.
  • Strong consultative sales skills and ability to tailor messaging to financial and clinical stakeholders.
  • History of building and effectively using affiliate programs to drive sales.
  • Experience owning or closely collaborating on marketing programs, campaigns, or digital lead generation.
  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales performance tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (estimated 10–20%)
